The Charter has no insurance, accident or otherwise. All work is on a voluntary basis; everyone takes part at their own risk. The Charter will not be held liable for any mishaps or accidents on the journey to or from, or during the meetings.

Some municipalities have insurance cover. An EHIC card or so-called “Blue card”, is valid throughout the EU (national health insurance) and is recommended.
