Introduction of the „Friends of Europe Hepstedt“:

Hepstedt Charter of European Rural CommunitiesFriends of Europe Hepstedt (FEH) was founded 1993. The association has 60 members, chairman is Werner Hauschild.

The assignment of FEH is to assist and support the work of Hepstedt`s communal council on the European level.

Hepstedt Charter of European Rural CommunitiesParticipation of FEH in organizing and preparing any kind of meetings includes:

  1. deciding on the delegation for the annual European summer meeting,
  2. preparing an event for all inhabitants of Hepstedt providing information on the country hosting the next European meeting,
  3. granting financial support for young communal members for attending a meeting,
  4. coordinating the report on the European summer meeting by one designated attendee.

Hepstedt Charter of European Rural CommunitiesFollowing the initiative of FEH, an “European Path” had been build some years ago. This tree-lined route outside Hepstedt is equipped with benches and information boards on our partner countries. Each board describes an outdoor game, which is typical for the respective country.
